The level of health care services available in the Oxnard area is superb. State-of-the-art hospital and treatment facilities are modern and staffed by the highest caliber doctors and professionals. It is also a major employer in the city. The two hospitals are part of Dignity Health, and are highly rated. Located in the neighboring city of Ventura, Community Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, 242-bed, community-owned regional hospital and health center.
